About Pro-Iroda Industries

Pro-Iroda Industries is a Taiwan-based manufacturer of butane-powered hand tools, founded in Taichung in 1988. We are the original designers and manufacturers of the SOLDERPRO cordless soldering iron and MICRO-JET precision lighter ranges, and have spent nearly 40 years manufacturing for some of the largest tool brands in the world.

Nearly 40 Years of OEM Manufacturing

Pro-Iroda’s history is a B2B story. From the beginning, our business was designing and building tools that well-known brands sell under their own names. We were the original designers and manufacturers of the RadioShack soldering iron range, one of the most recognized tool lines in North American retail history. That track record continues today. We currently manufacture for more than 100 OEM and private label partners across Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia, and Northeast Asia. Most of those relationships are confidential, but the products are on shelves worldwide.
Pro-Iroda holds patents on the SOLDERPRO and MICRO-JET product platforms. When you work with us on a private label or OEM program, you are building on proven, patented designs with an established manufacturing and compliance history.

Design, Manufacturing, and Quality Control In-House

Every Iroda product is designed, prototyped, assembled, and quality-checked at our facility in Taichung, Taiwan.

Our dedicated design team handles the full development cycle, from 3D modeling and engineering through tooling, prototyping, and production. We do not outsource manufacturing or assembly. That means consistent quality, direct accountability, and a standard production lead time of 45 days for existing models.

Pro-Iroda products are certified for the markets our partners sell into. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified.

All products in the range carry CE certification. Select models are CPSC compliant for the US market. For partners requiring specific compliance documentation for their market or retail channel, our team can provide full details at inquiry stage.

Pro-Iroda currently manufactures for more than 100 OEM and private label partners across Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia, and Northeast Asia. Most partner relationships are confidential, but our products are sold under well-known brand names in professional tool retail and distribution channels worldwide.
The standard MOQ for private label manufacturing is 1,000 pieces per model. For the MICRO-JET precision lighter range (AT-2056, AT-2057, and AT-2058), the MOQ is 3,000 pieces per model.
Exclusive territory arrangements can be discussed where a partner can commit to an agreed annual volume. Volume thresholds differ by model. Iroda actively manages distribution to avoid channel conflict; where multiple partners operate in the same country or region, we work to segment the market by product, so partners are not competing on identical SKUs.
All private label programs include branding and custom packaging. Color changes can be discussed depending on the product and order volume. Functional modifications and tip configuration changes fall under OEM or ODM development and are scoped separately.
For confirmed defective units, Iroda issues a credit note or replaces the units with the partner’s next shipment, depending on the situation. Our sales team handles warranty cases directly with each partner.
Standard shipment documentation includes a Certificate of Origin, test reports, and certificates of conformity. MSDS documentation is available on request where required for the destination market or product type.
